Ada and the Engine - Reviews
"His less than adoring wife Anabella Byron (played by the delightfully unyielding Denise Nicholson)." - Christine Deitner, The Theatre Times
"Her mother, Anabella Byron (Denise Nicholson is wonderful as Ada's overprotective mother) attempts tirelessly to separate Ada from literature and into math and science." - Mary E. Montoro, All About the Stage
"Nicholson succeeds in portraying a mother who punishes her child for the sins of its father, and is nasty enough that one keeps expecting her to bellow out, "No wire coat hangers ever!"" - Ernest Kearney, The TVolution
"As Ada's mother, Anabella Byron, Denise Nicholson brought the right level of sternness, disapproval and authority to the role. Watching her facial expressions while Ada was interacting with Babbage said multitudes about her attitudes on the matter." - Daniel Faigin, Obervations Along the Road
"The experienced supporting cast shines, particularly enjoyed Denise Nicholson as the cold calloused mother who is afraid of losing her only daughter the same way she lost her husband." - Mike Check
